WORTON — Seniors Diane Ardon and Will Maier were named this year's Bayside Athletic Conference Scholar Athletes for Kent County High School. 

Ardon was a standout on the volleyball, basketball and track teams. 

Maier played soccer, football and lacrosse. 

To be eligible for the Bayside Scholar Athlete honor, a student must be a senior and have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.25 through their last report card and have no failing grades on their high school transcript. 

They also must have played two or more sports their senior year.
