ROCK HALL — Kent County Public Schools is currently redesigning its budget process to better align to the pillars and requirements of the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future.
As part of this effort, families and community members are invited to take a survey about the Kent County Public Schools budget.
The Blueprint is a major statewide effort passed by the General Assembly in 2021 to transform public education in Maryland into a world-class school system.
The Blueprint will increase statewide education funding by $3.8 billion each year over 10 years, enrich student experiences and accelerate student outcomes, as well as improve the quality of education for all children in Maryland, especially those who have been historically underserved.
Responding to this budget survey will help Kent County Public Schools better understand the voices of our community regarding what you value at your schools and the resources you would prioritize if additional funding were available.
This survey should take no more than 5 minutes to complete.
